Pete,
Check out a Russell Pro Fuel Filter which I believe has 1/2 inch NPT threads. Use an adaper from 1/2 NPT to your choice of 5/16" or 3/8" inverted flare. My guess would be you are using 3/8.

Yes, it will fit, but the Caprice is a B-body and the spindle is taller. It
will physically bolt in, but you'll probably have a tough time getting the
alignment right. The aftermarket upper A-arms from Global West, Hotchkis
and others correct this problem. I think you'll need different tie-rod e

My hat's off to either one of our sister services! I salute each of them
for their efforts. That's the hardset part, being away from family. It
really sucks. I missed both my daughters first birthday's. I got to spend
them in the big sandbox. Pretty miserable. Not to belittle the "shots".

why not try the efi filters that are used on pick up trucks, mount it down
on the frame, and it has fittings on inlet and outlet, all you'd have to do
is fix a mount for it and fabricate fuel lines.

BTW, the reason I wanted to start buying dash pads direct is because they
also make them for Chevy/GMC trucks. The distributor I was buying them from
doesn't carry truck parts, so in the past I wasn't able to get the truck
pads. I'll add them to the web site soon. There is so much to do right now

Just wondering what people are running for fuel filters.
I'd like something that attaches using inverted flare fittings like the factory would
have done it.
Trying to avoid hoses, braided or otherwise.
Also, no $100 billet filters!
(Note: Going to use Holley so losing little filter in carb)
