I've got manual drum brakes and after finding several brake leaks that
emptied and gunked up the master cylinder. Replaced all wheel cylinders,
flex lines and half the metal lines. Blew each line and master cylinder
clean with Brake Klean. Bled the system starting at LR. Finally got
fluid

sorry to hear you wont make it :(
I am thinking of getting another quart of brake fluid and go through the
whole bleed sequence again. Should the pedal be firm at the top, middle?
The pedal should be firm at the top, say 1/2 to 3/4 pedal travel. One
thing you should check is the brake shoe adjustment. If the shoes are not

FYI I finally made it into this Magazine. If you would like to take a look at my 71 ElCamino. It's in there somewhere. I haven't seen it yet but my friends have told me about it. Look for a Mulesanne Blue w/ white hood stripes black bucket seat interior. Bob K.
Congratulations... I check out that mag every once and a while... I'll have
to take a gander and see if I can find it.

I'd like to hear your comments, good or bad. It will never be a finished truck, but I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Bob K.
I had a tranny put into my Dodge a few years ago. AAMCO, in the CAmbridge - EAston (on Md. eastern shore) Not really satisfied with their work. Maybe other shops are better?
Hi Folks,
As I am trying to fit my new exhaust kit underneath my SS, there are some
questions regarding the pipes that exit the mufflers.
Does anyone have online photos of an 67 with dual exhaust (or that can be
emailed to me), specifically the rear under-carriage section? Showing the exit

I never thought about this before, but if we ever have electric cars, we'll
need some kind of pulsed air pump to simulate exhaust. Maybe they can come
up with some kind of Glade Plugin for the smell.

Also bear in mind that most places swap your tranny
rather than rebuild it if it is a stock replacement. They either send them out
to be rebuilt or rebuild them on days when the shop is slow. If you have a
numbers-matching tranny, be very specific about the fact that you want your own
unit

Try bleeding the master cylinder itself not sure if that'll help but can't
