What is better about Plasti-kote? Color? Durability? Some folks have said
I should use POR-15.
Thanks,

I have a .030 over 350 in my 66. I updated the cooling system to accommodate
the heating up problem. I used 9.5:1 pistons then used a set of completely
reworked 64cc heads that were shaved to bring the compression ratio to
10.75:1 . I would suggest getting a good radiator preferable aluminum. I'm

Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with a .060 350? I have a chance
to pick up a fresh short block for cheap, but I wonder if it will be prone
to overheating. I've never built or ran one .060 over. It would be a mild
build for semi-daily use. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.
Sounds familiar. My father worked for the railroad and we use to go down to
the railroad yard and watch the new cars roll by in the early 60's. A few
years later they put side panels on the railroad cars so you couldn't see much

Shoot, you'd be running 8's... One of my employees was running high 8's with
a tubocharged '93 Mustang stroker small block and didn't have $40k tied-up

it to work. The only inconvenience, really, was the roll cage.

A few questions questions regarding '66 Chevelle SS radio bezel and glove box bezels.
I have seen via aftermarket '66 radio bezels that are smooth faced and ones that has small ribbed lines going horizontal across the face Which is correct for a '66 SS?

Goodmark had some tooling issues when first released, so

It's fairly simple. You should have something larger
than a 4" Vise. 6" vise would be better. The bigger

straps. One socket is the receiver and the other is
the pusher, if you will. Chuck it all
I've wondered the same thing - how do you change out a universal joint?
