A buddy of mine recently purchased a 66 Chevelle that has some rather
interesting things about it. First off, although it has a 396 engnie right
now, it has all of the badging for a 427. It even has a cowl plenum air
cleaner. Additionally, the license plate frame says "Dana Chevrolet".

David, if you do not have an AC car, you should be able to remove the
heater box cover by just loosening the passenger side inner well.
It's tricky, but if you can roll the inner well out of the way a bit, you
can squeeze your hand up in the corner to remove the rest of the
