I tested my Nova drag car once to see if increasing the plug gap really
added more HP. The car had a MSD 7 ignition system. I gapped
the plugs at .035, .045,.060, and .075. I didn't see a difference

Cam duration is given in crankshaft degrees. The crank turns twice
(720 deg) for every single revolution of the cam (2:1 ra
rear main cap.
The rear cap is larger than the rest and
it also holds the rear seal. The clearance is also supposed to be a half a
thousandths or so larger than the rest of the bearing caps.
