That could very well be it. Mine is an after market harness and is more of a
tan color. You should be able to check it by putting a test light or volt meter
at the plug and pushing the switch by hand with the car running. The solenoid
has a single pole taking ground from the chassis.

Corporations. Its taxes and Crude cost that drives price. We need to drill
where we find it here in the states and the cost will come down.

A radiator shop can tell you if it is worth fixing. Depends somewhat on how old
it is. If it has a hole that has developed without cause by damage, I would
replace it. I don't see any reason to change to an aluminum radiator.
