Actually John, the H pipe only works when the rpm and exhaust
velocity are low. Once rpm and exhaust velocity get high, the exhaust
goes right past the H pipe. An X pipe on the other hand works at all rpm

I'm running a Stainless Works 3" X-pipe on my ZR-1.
If anyone wants to see it in place,email me offline and I'll shoot you a

Bassani makes a nice polished stainless unit for
about the same price as the Dr.Gas,I think. On the dyno,my former '90 ZR-1
picked up 12rwhp and 15rwtq. Pretty ch
race car (to me).
