Well I have a Z-16 convertible! It's a 1/24th scale model. The interesting part is on the bottom it says: 1/24 1965 Chevelle SS396 Z-16 used under license It's made of cast metal and the doors and hood open. Even the steering wheel turns the wheels. It's got a Chevy orange 396 with a dual inlet

Semi knowing mark if there was one he would know about it. In fact mark has had for sale for the last 2 years a menagerie of Z16 parts with a 65 convert included. He also last summer sold a z16 rolling car to a friend of mines friend in Arizona. several of the Z16 owners do not want anyone to know

In my opinion I find it hard to believe that one of the 200 production Z-16 Chevelles was a convertible For two reasons. One is because they were built with very limited amount of variance in the options selection. Even the color selection was limited. Two is they were built on a convertible
