Dave- I did the checking today
I said I would and was unable to come up with anything for you. The
rw507g bearing does not appear in either my bca or timken bearing books,
and I ran into the same listings your parts houses have, calling for the
other bearings.

My 64 GTO has exactly the same rear. I think we assumed your rear was a
66 BOP. Could it have been changed out by a previous owner?
Must have been.
My axle tube seal (goes it front of the bearing) is
CR 14088 (bought an extra 7 yrs ago). My axle is
1.437 diameter at the seal bearing end.

That's the rear end in my 66 elky. 10 bolt posi,
has no C-clips (I know cause I changed the bearings
7 yrs ago). The place I got them is no longer in
business.
Have no idea how the rear got in my elky, maybe a
shortage at GM? My Elky also has no hood spear.
Weird.
Anyone know where I should

Wouldn't a 66 Goat have a 12 bolt rear? How about a
66 Tempest?

I have a 67 GTO. It didn't come with a 12-bolt. I always thought it was a
10-bolt (open)but maybe it is not. How do you identify an BOP 8.2?
I have installed a chevy 12 bolt posi in it tho since I assumed it was a
10-bolt, so I guess it's too late to matter.

So,a 66 GTO with 389 tripower and 4spd would only
have an 8.2 10 bolt while a Chevelle SS-396 with the mildest 396 and even a
powerglide would come standard with a 8.875" 12 bolt? Doesn't seem fair,does
it?
Did the BOP 10 bolts have a 12 bolt ring
