I have a small block motor that I would like to know where to get some info on. I went to mortec and it says that it is either a 350 or a 302. The numbers on the back are 3914678 and stamped on the front pad is VO5I4YS. I was told it came out of a 68 camero... just curious. Thanks!!!

Chevy didn't start using 3-character suffixes until 1970 and 3970010 was a very common 350 casting, so my guess is that it's a 1970 or newer truck 350. I believe C80149401 is a partial VIN for the original vehicle and either the 8 or the 0 indicates model year (again, I can't remember).
