By the time you get everything fixed, someone will come along and want to buy it. Be a shame to sell it then . Nothing for the other person to do.

Jim,
As far as I remember, the 'Generator' light will stay on until the circuit 'sees' positive voltage coming from the charging system. This is just an idiot light that replaces an amp or volt meter.
When you are talking about 'priming' the engine, are you talking about building up oil pressure be
Good ideas Brad.
John,
Did you get the battery checked?
Also is the flasher slow with car running or off, or both?
Hopefully they still make the HD flasher which doesn't care how many bulbs are in
circuit. In the old days you could put wrong flasher in and turnsignals would flash
slow or fast; and even right flas

The directional problems may be caused by poor grounds. You need
to check all of the light grounds and make certain that they are clean
& tight.

My speedometer has 2 needles on it. A red one that tells me how fast I'm
going, and a white one that seems to be pinned at 120 mph. What is the white
one for?
You must have the "Speed Minder" option--a buzzer will go off when you
exceed the speed that you set with the white needle. This is a rel

John,
Did you add a sound
John,
Did you add a sound system?
Maybe radio or amp is always on?
Electric choke? Tach?
Did you check lights in trunk, underhood, glovebox?
Make sure they go out?
Just thought I'd throw a few ideas out.

Bill. I dont think its the starter because the test light only lights
when I touch it to the red wire coming from the harness. The power lead
from the harness is not hooked up to the battery at the moment and the
main wire form the battery to the starter

if you pull
all of the fuses and the battery still runs down the problem could be in the
armature of the starter or alternator
just my two
