I recently shot a film on a Panasonic AG-DV100B miniDV camera at 24p. Since NTSC (I'm in the U.S.) is 29.97fps, it is my understanding that the DVX100 uses a pulldown of 2:3:3:2 in order to make it possible to revert to the native 24p frames and edit that in post. The fourth paragraph of this Wikip

note that the make 3.81 from ubuntu do not compile cinelerra.
i had to downgrade the make to the 3.80.
anyway, cinelerra always compile perfect in slackware :-)
i'm preparing the packages and slackbuilds of cinelerra for slack 11.0.

If you try the same project several times, can you get it to load with the
OpenGL driver?
I saw something similar, and thought it was OpenGL driver specific, but then

Point of clarification: Cinelerra hangs, and then if I break out of the hang
using CTRL-C, the software outputs the above dump.

:D Thanks!
Step -1: How will I get the source code?
Go to
http://cvs.cinelerra.org/
And click on "download", at the end you have "Source code". Detailed
instructions are at:
http://cvs.cinelerra.org/svnusage.php#anon
You will need subversion for this, which is a

Hello!
I am tempted by 2.1. But at the moment I have a few
pending projects. Since 2.0 works well for me,
I decided to wait until I finish my work.
Then I want to give it a try. Maybe when I do that
I will try to compile it from sources because
I am being tempted to try and temper with it a bit.
Yikes! I didn't realize this either. If this is the case then what is
the best setting for rendering??

Miha,
I'm having problems installing 2.1 CV on Ubuntu Dapper.
2.0 was much easier (it was not selectable on Synaptic though).
Are you not tempted by 2.1 CV?
