I recently shot a film on a Panasonic AG-DV100B miniDV camera at 24p. Since NTSC (I'm in the U.S.) is 29.97fps, it is my understanding that the DVX100 uses a pulldown of 2:3:3:2 in order to make it possible to revert to the native 24p frames and edit that in post. Hello! I am tempted by 2.1. But at the moment I have a few pending projects. Since 2.0 works well for me, I decided to wait until I finish my work. Then I want to give it a try. Maybe when I do that I will try to compile it from sources because I am being tempted to try and temper with it a bit.
