Frank,
The only way to telnet to the outside interface is to enable ipsec. If you
don't feel like dealing with it (I didn't!!!) use SSH. You have to download
the 56-bit Key (Free from Cisco) and enable SSH on your PIX. IPSEC forces
you to use VPN client from your PC. Any SSH (I'm using Tera

I don't think that this is correct (yikes !! :)
If the server is not acting as a bridge how could the two connections
matter, vis-a-vis STP.
In fact, Intel touts just a solution with their NIC "teaming" concept,

OC-192, single-hop coast to coast backbone. It's going

in place and MPLS single-hop stuff is coming up. The
OC-192 might even be pumped up to something higher

Is there a way to statically nat multiple outside address to the same inside

I have tried, with multiple static commands, but the Pix responds in error.
Example:

If you leave the routers connected to the PC via their console ports, you
should be able to access a terminal across PCA. You could also connect the
modem to the aux port on the router and use it to dial in remotely.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to send an update in terms of the problem that I had with a
Cisco 1600 router in Seattle that went down (Frame-relay).
Last Monday our users in Seattle could not log into our network and we were
sent a page from HP Openview that the Seattle router stopped responding. I
I've tried to do this before and I couldn't figure out a way to do it in the PIX. One
option would be to do NAT on the outside router, and NAT the .1 address to the .2,
then have a single static entry in the PIX for the .2. Not a pretty solution, but it
might work. :-)
Good luck,
John
11.2(18) is the perfect IOS a buddy of mine was supprised to it on the
CCIE lab last year. This version of 11.2 has all the Frame Relay stuff
(NAT, PAT, auto LMI sensing too). With the low memory you could also run
12.0(6) IPSec. This would allow you to practice your tunnels encryption.
Hi,
i wanted to know where i can download ios from?
Thanx.

I've used PCAnywhere with several installations and found it to be
nothing but problematic and bulky.
Give VNC server a quick look-see. You'll find it to be smaller faster
more secure and free.
