with both token-ring, sync serial and ethernet interfaces. Some of the

number, it really helps in troubleshooting when you do a show frame pv
Quick one - can someone confirm that the WIC-1DSU-T1 is the same for the
1700 as is for the 2600?
Most places I check out prices for specify only 1600, 1600 and 3600 - not a
word on 1700.
However, in the Cisco Products Quick Reference Guide it has the same part
number.

back-to-back using the AUX ports. So I think you can apply this to your two
routers, unless you intent to use the AUX ports for something else.

Having problem with running OSPF with ISDN.
The multicast Hello packets of ISDN continuously casuing line to
bounce.
Have tried by putting Ip ospf demand circuit on one/both sides of
connection but no succes.
Any idea???

You've got a couple of choices.. you could move the IOS
image from the PCMCIA card to the physical Flash of the router and just boot
it as normal. The other choice is to add the command "boot system" and tell
it which IOS image to use...

I don't believe RIP will solve your problem, even though RIP metric is only
based on hop counts, any neighboring router will still "see" the 2 MSFC's
with the same hop count, causing the same situation.
I believe this is one of the rare cases when you "have" to manipulate the
