I have Old Catalyst 3512 clustered in one closet and just rolling out XP
workstations.
I have no problem loging into Windows 2000 Active directory with Win
98&2000.
I also don't have any problems loging into 2K AD with any client(98,2000,XP)
where I have 2950 or 3550 switches.
For some reason I can
only thing I would know to do at L2 is port security... just lock it down to
pre-identified MACs to prevent users from throwing unauthorized boxes on the
network.

I would think Enterprise, or maybe Enterprise 3DES/IPSec (so you can encrypt
your BGP tunnels ;-). I would definitely practice with 12.2, unless you are
going to be taking the lab real soon. They are switching to 12.2 in the
fall...

I love this site. I had no idea that the failover from one sup to another
would get longer if we move from CAT to Native. I hope they get that fixed
quickly.

Does anyone have any recommendations for taking a class/training on the VOIP
stuff ?
I'm looking for something Cisco oriented, but if someone has something good
to
recommend on more general implementation options, and design for different
protocols like SIP/H.323/MGCP, etc, that would be good too.
Anyone used techsoup.org for non-profit Cisco ordering? An admin of $60 for
a $3000 switch seems too good to be true.

Piyush,
the answer to your question is YES. you better implement this fix before

I am contemplating which CCIE route to take between the CCIE C&S IP
telephony and R&S options, having already completed the CCIP.
I ask this question because, I recently noticed most people whom have
undertaken the C&S route seem to have already acheived the R&S option.
Any advice is welcome.

Most of the config should go over, take it to a 5.x version first. There
were some changes in the way the PIX uses the file etc.
Make sure you make a note of the conduits etc (if there are any). Most of
the commands if not all are backward compatible - they just throw in a few
new ones.
Joel.

Hi,
As stated on Cisco page, specific IP packet could block the interface.
You can use access-lists to block those packets or upgrade the IOS.
All vulnerable IOS are in the list:
