Hello, Dark fibre simply means unused fibre, or "a piece of unconnected fibre". If you connect OC-3c interfaces to both ends of a dark fibre, then the fibre becomes an OC-3c link. If you connect both ends of the dark fibre to gigabit ethernet interfaces, then that becomes a GE link. Got it ?
