How can I capture my router configuration for a printed copy? I know I can
highlight and copy as I page down in a telnet session, but, there must be an
easier way to get it into a .txt file all at once. Thanks for any help,
Dave

I have the Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting book and I can't tell if this
is the latest version. It's published 1999, ISBN 1-57870-092-2. It just
seems that with the CCNP 2.0 that there would also be a newer CIT. Thanks,

My telco has installed a 64K line. I thought I could use a T1 WIC, and set
the bandwidth to 64 and/or use the command service-module timeslot 1 to run
this point-to-point leased line. Is this only possible if the line is
fractional T1?(the question probably should be "what is the line, 64K or

Ahh- this is a very hard thing to imagine. You are not not able to Ping the
3600 interface because you're not able to get the correct response from the

I have two routers, 3640 and 1602 both with T1 WIC's w/built in DSU/CSU.
They are connected back to back. The 3640 int s1/1 ip address is
12.10.2.97/29 and the 1602 is 12.10.2.98/29. I can ping from the 1602 both
12.10.2.97 and 12.10.2.98 and from the 3600 I can ping the 1602 -
12.10.2.98. But
I would like to get a catalyst of my own to practice configuration
excersizes from the BCMSN (Karen Webb /Cisco Press) book and take the test
later. I have access to a 2524, 1602, 2501 routers and limited access to a
catalyst 5500. Anyone know what might be the lowest cost catalyst that runs
Someone had posted here a link to a website that included booksamillion.com
and serveral other book sellers. I lost that link and I hope to find a good
site that keeps pricing information from several sites. I think
elgrande.com is probably one of the best for low price; know any good ones?
I think I have a better wording of my problem this time: I want to go from
DMZ to Inside Network without making a hole in the Pix. I want to ping an
outside address -100.100.100.104 from within the DMZ . Normally if you're
on the I-net and ping 100.100.100.104 that would take you to my
