Looks like the 2948 is not supported.

I think we should name the cat Kingsford, in honor of Priscilla.
I feel like a stalker now. Don't worry Priscilla, I remember you had your
cat's picture on your website.
I like the shirt idea. How true is that design?

Is it possible to run 100mb Ethernet over Type1 cabling? If so what are
some of the issues in doing so? Looking to cut some costs on a project.

It all depends on how the switch is ordered. You can order the COS(switch)
/ IOS(MSFC) version or the Native IOS version that runs one OS that controls
the Layer2 device and Layer3 device with one set of commands. These
commands are the same as the 2924/3548 IOS commands. With the Native IOS,

If it is an older original 1900 switch, you will need to use a null modem
cable and HyperTerminal.

In the past, everyone would blame the switch. If it was the switch then
every NIC or device would have this problem. I have found that it's usually

That's a good hypothesis. If the majority of the corporations (network
end-users) don't have a need for an employee at the CCIE level (for
technology reasons and due to the high salary requirements). Then a
CCNP/CCDP with experience at a lower salary requirement makes perfect sense.

UPDATED Posting
Since the majority of the CCNP tests are going to be retired at the end of
July, are there any new books slated to be published in the very near
future? I noticed a new CLSC replacement on Amazon, but that was the only
one. Does Cisco Press have the new books for CCNP 2.0?
Thanks,
Timothy J.
