Finally, a bit of hands on with ISDN would help quite a bit.
Good luck to you all!

Are you sure about theACRC v2

troubleshoot the problem, because I couldn't ping anything from the router,
although the switch LEDs seem okay. I had to restart the firewall, and
clear the arp-cache on the router.

with about 80 to 90 commands to choose from. So in a sense, CCNP v2 is easier than v1 because you don't have to committ to memory all the IOS commands. Passing score is also lower in v2.
Cheers good luck!

Title: RE: ISDN
Hi Peter,
Looking at the show command, there is no layer 3 call. If your BRI interface gets assigned an IP address by the called router, then you won't be able to pin the BRI IP address until an ISDN call is made (and IP assigned).

Title: RE: Help for BCRAN books and amterial related
The official Cisco book (Building Cisco Remote Access Networks, ISBN: 1578700914) was the only one I used to pass the 640-505. You can take the BCRAN without going through BSCN, as they cover different subjects. BSCN is very
by Remote Access 2.0. I found the exam to be the easiest compared to ACRC BCMSN.
Good luck on your exam!
