Wouldn't it be cool if cisco was to setup virtual Network Academies. Racks
of equipment for people to perform labs on.
People going for their CCIE or CCNx could for free log onto to a console
server and play as if phys
STP has nothing to do with hubs but if a switch sees it's own BDPU's coming
from one port into another through the hub it's going to suss there is a
loop pretty quick.

Assuming that Port fast isn't enabled on any of the ports you're using or
the ports aren't in separate VLAN's I'd be surprised if Spanning tree hadn't
put one in blocking.
Separate VLAN's might be a bit of a screwy way of doing it, just have two
default gateways (one in each vlan but same subnet)
Assuming that you don't want to use a RSM either or make them all part of
the same Vlan, I suppose you could just run a cross-over cable from a port
set to vlan X to a port set to vlan Y. Bit naff and you'd need to look at
the spanning tree set up.
What about a using a plain old bridge or settin
For the written more than a good overview of term and technologies of VoIP
is all you need.
