Hi All, Wondering. I have a 3000 Concentrator connected to the corporate 10.60.60.0/24 subnet. I have a remote VPN Client PC on a remote subnet of 172.60.60.0/24. After the SA is negotiated and the Mode Configuration allows the VPN Concentrator to push the IPSec settings down to the VPN Client.

To telnet from a client to a host works fine. However, if you telnet to the host, walk away for 5 minutes and come back, the telnet session is disconnected (I think it is the PIX disconnecting the telnet session after a period of the connection being idle). It is this timeout of 5 minutes I woul

Hi Priscilla, The device doing the pinging is a UNIX box connected to another switch. I have also tried pinging from a PC connected directly to the 1924. The device being pinged has been a PC, Notebook, NT Server. I also like Micheal's advice. I did telnet onto the switch, under the Port Addre

Thanks Paul, The switch port connected to the device (PC) has Port fast mode enabled and full duplex enabled. The port the connects to another switch is a 100Base-T and has Port fast mode disabled. So I don't think this is the cause. KM Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.
