been tasked with implementing a way to filter Internet traffic (block porn
sites) as well as user authentication. I'm thinking about using Websense
but the cost is too much. What have you guys been using or recommend

point of concern within an organization, specifically if they are not
monitored or accounted for. Unless you have a ton of them out on your

Our web traffic was being filtered by WebSense which worked with the PIX
however our license has expired and the filtering no longer works. Does
anyone know of any other filtering software that works with the PIX?

The company I work for recently merged with another company and the need for
the networks to be connected has risen. We will be connecting via VPN

keep your SmartNET contract it requires that you have Cisco
purchased parts. They give you Intel NICs in the PIX anyway so you should
be safe. I have no idea if there is a change in licensing or not.

Cisco Avvid requres an DHCP server (which they supply NT) but I would like to use
Linux DHCP server instead. The phone are able to get IP, DNS etc.. but not the TFTP
