Cisco states that their PA-4E module (four port 10BaseT) for 7500 Series routers is capable of being configured for full duplex operation. Under the ethernet interface, no "full-duplex" option available. Also, the command "no half-duplex" returns "Invalid input". Has anyone configured this modul

Sean, If you have redundant power supply in the chassis of the same 5500, you should not be seeing switch resets due to one power supply failure. All you should see is that the logs will indicate that power supply 1 is reseting. Having said that, if you still suspect that the switch reset is due

In the Unix servers, please check for /etc/resolve.conf and see if name servers are configured correctly. If these Unix servers don't require name services, please add just their ip addresses to /etc/hosts file and then check for response time. This is "reverse nam lookup" issue. Thanks. Tauseef
