Hi All - I have a 3620 router and a NM-2FE2W module. What version of IOS
supports this NM-2FE2W on 3620? The router is currently has the standard IP
IOS version installed. If a different IOS version is needed, is it possible
if I place the flash of this 3620 router into a 2600 router and do the

Someone told me that IOS version followed with 'T' will support (like
12.0(5)T...). Do you think the latest version 12.1.7 will support this
NM-2FE2W module? Thanks!

1) IOS "T" does NOT support FE NM's, "XK" does.

I'm running 12.1(1)T in a 3620 and from memory I believe 12.1(5)T in a 3660
both with NM2FE2W.
I'm fairly sure any T image after 12.1(1)T will do the trick. Certainly CCO
says so.

If I gave misinformation, I apologize. I know that when I tried to use
12.0(7)T, I couldn't get the router to recognize the FE module. I was told
by a Cisco SE that this was an issue with the "T" IOS. I guess they
corrected it in the later versions.
