Hi colleagues,
I am about to take the BCMSN exam; I know that you are allowed to use a
calculator on the exam, but does this calculator also allow you to convert
decimals or binaries to hex ? I hope this question doesn't violate the

Does anyone have a good study list for BCMSN (Switching 2.0) exam? I'm
currently studying from Osbourne and have been told (albeit by someone not a
CCNP) that Osbourne books aren't enough to study from. Any suggestions?

Does the BCMSN exam cover 1) Token Ring Switching and 2) ATM LANE in any
depth?
Also, are the command sets for the 1900 switch and the 5000 switch covered?
Any help would be appreciated.

I completely agree with Phil. I used Boson #2 for Switching and got my
highest score so far.
I used Routing (#2, I think) and got my lowest score so far.

Its not like they are throwing complex multicast configs and whatnot at
you. Know the differences between different multicast types (pim sparse,
pim dense, pim sparse-dense)..
How in depth are the Multicast questions on the exam? How many can I
