Problem 1)
Can anybody explain me cofiguring IETF encap on the main interface and
confguring ietf per dlci on the sub interface,what coul be implications.
My Topology
centrral
routerswitch--remote-ends(non cisco)(many cisco
u can use cisco encapsulation for cisco routers and ietf for all others.
what encapsulation is to be configured on the main interface depends on how
many non-cisco and cisco routers u have.

Thanx for the reply,this ietf is cleared but another doubt came what
advantages again specifying broadcast keyword on the sub interface then on
main interface as frame-relay dlci can have broadcast keyword.
Whats is the good practise whether by default we should enable broadcast

whether you should shut down a serial interface before changing the
encapsulation. It is the polite thing to do, although it's not necessary
to get it to work.
