Hi Gang, Do you recall the RIP 1 problem I posted about a month ago ? Went along the lines of TOP, MIDDLE, BOTTOM Routers. Serial link between MIDDLE TOP. Serial link between MIDDLE BOTTOM. Ethernet between TOP BOTTOM. RIP 1 configuration. I did post this, but got no replies. Anyway,

The IP addresses are configured like this. TOP S0 192.168.2.5/30 TOP S1 192.168.1.9/30 LEFT S0 192.168.2.6/30 LEFT Eth0 147.89.1.100/24 RIGHT S0 192.168.1.10/30 RIGHT Eth0 147.89.1.101/24 So, 192.168.1.0 is can be distinguished from 192.168.2.0 . I'll post the configs on Friday when I get

Thanx for the input, Unfortunately the configs are 120 miles away. I only really get a chance to play at the weekends when I'm back home. But there is really nothing fancy in the configs. When I cut the link TOP-RIGHT I waited for the route to get flushed out the table i.e 280 secs (I think)
