what's mean of the word "pseudonode" in IPX environment include pseudonode
LSP and nonpseudonode LSP.
I know that LSP is abbreviation of link state packet of NLSP.
And I want to gain some free references on IPX protocol suite and what do
you refer to that.
Thank you very much and please write ba

A little history...Radia Perlman introduced some of the first link
state protocols in DECnet, which were submitted to ISO and eventually
became OSI-only ISIS.

Greetings, a bit of confusion I'd like cleared up:
ICND [Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices] has this to say:
Chapter 10 [Configuring Novell IPX]; page 330:
"Cisco's routers offer the following features in Novell network
environments:
* blah-blah
* blah-blah, Network Control
There is a NCP used in (Novell Netware Core Protocol) and PPP use a NCP

I have a IPX question in my CCNA practice test beta and I've had some mixed
feedback on it. The questions asks what is the command to enable IPX routing
on a router and gives a MAC address as part of the question. The question is
a *fill in the blank* type. The answer I have is:
ipx ro
anner, and then were to do a "show
IPX interface", now what would you find?
Would one or the other be more useful in certain situations, say if you were
trying to troubleshoot IPX routing or IPX connectivity?
Fair?

So far I'm running about 3 to 1 in favor of the question as it is. Both
sides have made interesting arguments in their favor. But I'm a bit biased :)
Logan, I had not thought of the IPX pinging, good call on that.

FAQ,
Sorry, my attempts to test this locally have failed miserably due to other
( related ) IPX problems.
If I configure SAP sources on a router - i.e. servers and printers - will I
be able to see those "devices" when I browse using network neighborhood on a
Windoze PC?
Chuck
aside - I installed the
