and most certainly the CHEAPEST way to emulate an ISDN switch for a CCIE

I would suggest when you are ready for the ISDN, to rent a rack with the
simulator rather then try to bluff your way through it using a sim program.
That way you can try all kinds of configs, not just what the sim has.
