As far as Im aware you can only use the ATA flash disks on Windows PCs, and
not the older linear flash PCMCIA cards. Itd probably use a different
filesystem anyway, although Ive not tried it.

the 3660 that had an image on it and also copied the running config onto
the flash then pulled it out and plugged it into a 3640, it did not see
either file.

you can copy it
