discontiguous networks are the same as discontiguous space on a hard drive Think of it as used space that does not coincide with the data beside it... so, with that in mind, 12345678910 is contiguous. 1649103257 is not 10.10.1 10.10.2 10.10.3 10.10.4these are contiguous

Discontiguous, when you seperate a network with another network 172.16.1/24--192.168.1/30---172.16.2/24 Muxing, combining multiple channels into a single channel. IMHO Cisco has auto summary wrong. It should be off by default for I have only seen it do it to ya not for ya.
