Atlas 550 Integrated Access Device will do this for you .. Also cost may be a factor as generally PRI 's were cheaper that T1's Maybe also the telco had the PRI'S allready installed From a PRI perspective the PRI's tend to work better with the telco switches. Seems that the 64 K channel works
