He never gave a date and he's gone now. He said real soon though and I
beleive it only covers the lab. Cisco still expects a CCIE to be able to
support token-ring, but not implement it. Same as all the other legacy
technologies.

they're also thinking of letting third parties proctor the lab, so people
can get there easier. The only problem is not losing control of the LAB and
keeping standards high. Also more real wold scenarios, updated technologies
will be in the lab.
