Recert is made up of questions from all the exams.

First of all, the questions for the re-cert exam are from all the 4 exams
individual subject matter. Secondly, as far as my knowledge extends, CCNP
and CCIE are 2 different tracks. In the sense that getting ur CCIE doesn't
renew your CCNP certification. And if it expires, you lose the opt
CCIE does renew CCNP.

Tis an interesting question. I went into the online tracking system for an
opinion. There, CCIE allows you to skip the CCNA and common exams
requirement, but you still have to have to have CCDA and a valid CID exam.
The CCIE option did not appear under my CCNP options.
