personally, I would call the telco and whine and complain and rant and rave at them. It may not be their problem ( based on the problem description ) but it's a great stress reliever. It is also possible that there is a hardware problem. perhaps a TAC case should be opened? Also, it is possible

You should be looking down a couple layers. EIGRP operation can't cause the line protocol to go down. The line protocol being down indicates a data-link layer problem or maybe a physical-layer problem. What more can you tell us about this installation? There must be some more clues if you refo
