i dont know about the serial int BUT. the igs ios you have on your machine won`t do diddlyno ospf.no rip .no ip no nothing .get a new ios ( a proper 2503 ip ios ) and try again i think you can only use a ios 11.2 because you need more flash to run some of the later ones HTH
