I ran across this not too long ago with a frame circuit. The port was not enabled on the frame switch and there was a tap on the line for testing. This took my data provider over 4 hours of escalation to find. If your data provider swears it is not them and your config looks good. Then have th

Hi, My experience tells me the looped usually indicates that there is a loop somewhere. This can be a soft set loopback in either router. A loopback set at either end on the network termination equipment. The one that gets tricky is if a telco tester has left a loopback in place mid stream.

Check your configuration if you're running an integrated csu/dsu that you don't have a 'loopback' command configured. If you're running an external csu/dsu, check that you don't have a local loopback or loopback dte. If the above are negative, speak to your telco and see that they have a loop inst
