I'm not really aware of one (short of pulling & reinserting it), but try
'if-con ' and see whether there is a 'reload' command in the VIP
IOS. I don't know if there is.

Yes from the "if-console x" you can connect to the VIP and reload it.
Since this is not really supported I tried it and though the RSPs never
reloaded nor changed status, (master/slave) there was about a minute
outage and I had lots of tracebacks and other ugly messages in the log.
