I tried to set up a TFTP server on solaris. When I do write net on
router, I got TFTP: error code 2 received - Access violation error
message unless I create a destination file first. How do I fix this
problem? Many thanks.

I have already done this. The config-reg is 0x2102.
And this is the same as with the other routers that do not have this tftp
problem. You have to wait quite a while before you can start configuring
the
router. If this is a CCIE test, and you have this problem
clearing up
the config (for another lab set-up), the tftp error problem repeats.
To clear the config I do:
Router#erase nvram
Router#reload
After these commands and the router boots up, the tftp error problem
reappears. I notice though that this problem occurs not with all the routers
after
time.
Could this be IOS version no. specific? Or there is something else.
Thanks anyway for the response.
