This is what I have used for a 2501. The Sportster modem has
original dip
switch setting of 3,5,8 down all others up.
line aux 0
login local
password password
modem inout
modem autoconfigure type usr_sportster
transport input all
flowcontrol hardware
stopbits 1
speed 38400
I'm trying to connect a US Robotics sportster modem to a Cisco 2514 thru the
aux port.
The dip switches on the modem: one, three and eight are down and all others
are up.
Config:
line aux 0
login
password password
modem inout
modem autoconfigure type usr_sportster
transport input all
Get rid of the Modem Autoconfigure line, and see what happens.
