rip v1 but listen to rip v1 and v2. If Rip v2 is specified in the the router rip setup, then it talks and listens only to ripv2. You have to know what version your neighbors need to hear and will speak. This behavior is changable on a per interface basis also. Hope this helps On 1 Jan 2001 11:21
