when you order dark fiber, you are getting fiber with nothing on it. it currently isn't running ATM, SONET, Gigabit Ethernet, or Fibre Channel. it's not providing a wavelength, or single or group of lambdas for you to use. you are getting the real thing. you want it to be good fiber (like
