Hi all,
recently we replaced some of our access switches by Cat3560E models.
After the change, we noticed a significant rise of dropped packets on
outgoing interfaces.
Closer investigation showed, that for some reason, Cat3560E is doing
significantly less output buffering than all other

it depends.. Don't think there is a hard/fixed limit on the 7200, we

I have a Cat 2924 with a port facing an old Waverider radio. I've got
about 80 MACs live on the interface, it's got a steady 5% error rate, and
the net effect is that it's behaving like WRED with a nearly full cue -
traffic for all slows to a crawl.
I've been fiddling with it a bit trying to

AFAIK, the PA-GE is only available supporting a GBIC, so there is no
native copper interface. I've never tried using a 1000b-T GBIC in a PA-GE
before, but I wouldn't count on it working -- Cisco only lists the PA-GE
as supporting optical GBICs.
Depending on your application, you might be able to

I have used a copper GBIC (WS-G5483) with a 7500 and a GEIP+ before. But not
with a GEIP (VIP2-50+PA-GE). It may work, though.
The 'official' answer is in

Actually, you can install a C7200-I/O-GE+E and save yourself a PA slot
and the associated bandwidth point hit.

Hi list,
I am almost confident this is not possible, but would like to confirm
whether exporting routes from some VRF to the global routing table is
possible or not.
This would be a solution to overcome the constraints of using PBR+GRE
setup.
Thanks in advance.
Hello Leonardo, I guess you'll use route leaking to accomplish what you want.

Nope, that's not correct. We've run copper gbics in a pa-ge on 7206-

The answer is no. I just got into this recently. The software crypto feature is
in SXF but no longer in SR releases.
You need to get the IPSec module for hardware crypto.
