I use clamscan to check my incoming mail. This is what I have used to
check it (using Procmail):
/sw/bin/clamscan --mbox --disable-summary --infected --stdout -

I installed Fedora Core 4 including amavisd-new 2.4.2 and ClamAV
0.88.7. Everything worked fine, mails sent via postfix were checked by
ClamAV.
Since the ClamAV version is outdated, I updated to a newer version

We have had to remove the experimental code from clamav 0.90.1 on our main mail
server, Solaris 10 SPARC. The daemon just disappeared after about eight hours.

default behaviour had changed to using the diff-method rather than
