could someone explain how to keep the original headers in the quarantine
files?
The --headers flag makes no difference and is for reports, not
the quarantine format.
As it is now, only the Received, From, To and Content-type is kept, the
rest is discarded by clam

I have on at least three different occasions submitted confirmed,
malicious code to the clamav sendvirus.html page, but still none of the
files are recognized as "evil" by clam :(

As it is now, a custom signature is matched before the main/daily ones,
which confuses things for us.

this is my first post here so be gentle...
Clamscan does not find some attachments in some types of mail.
Most attachments are, but not all. This have me somewhat concerned,
since the receiving email client will not be as ignorant :(
Seems like it is related to how a buggy(?), attached jp
