Hi B W, If you are disabled which i believe you are having CML then you must file for medicare immediately because it can take up to two years to become enrolled but you should first get a letter from your doctor stating what your situation is and go down to the closest Social Security office and

well do not worry about Infusions of blood or platelets, I have had them twice weekly for about 9 years and not as often for the previous 30 years I must admit that when my blood goes low or below 100 down in the 70, 80,90 I get out of breath if I walk too much but bounce back after infusions.. Hi Kate, Just before i had my bone marrow transplant my blood typing was O+ and since my donor who was my donor was B+. She was a perfect HLA match except for her blood type. Since i was in blast crises and no other person was even a match to me and since i was dying, my transplant doctor decided
