Hey Greenie: I have not been on CML Hope for awhile, and have not spoken to
you in quite awhile. I am going to get to my daughters house to play WWii
Bowling too LOL. Hope your doing well. I knew you were moving around a bit
this past year. I will try to get on more often. I am doing good

Hi Joan: You said avoiding citrus helps. You do know that we should not eat
grapefruit. Thats the one fruit that interferes with Gleevec. I have been on
Gleevec since 2000, and in the beginning I found that if I did not eat a good
meal before taking the Gleevec that I would get the nausea.
CONGRATULATIONS SANDY:
It is a wonderful feeling to get that news. We go through so much anxiety
in the beginning of our diagnosis, but we are blessed when we make these
achievements.
I Thank God Everyday for my remission also. Stay Well

Hi Patrick: Thank You for your response. I guess time will tell what we
should do, after they find out what they should do and make final decisions.
Everything is such a mess, and I am just going to keep things the way they are

Hi Gay: From all you have said is why I posted as I did, because that has been
the topic on everyone's minds. Its a big decision, and basically I heard the
same thing as far as doctors not wanting to be under the control of the
Government. I am not pleased with a lot of the things that have

Hi Daniel: I guess a lot of us have or have used antidepressants. I have been
on Zoloft for quite a few years now. I have no side effects. They tryed me on
Effexor, Paxil, but I had a bad reaction to them. I do not tolerate most meds
that well, so do not go by me. Someone told me Zoloft
Hi Greenie: I went into the study in Oct. of 2000. I was also told that if I
ever needed my Gleevec, and did not have insurance they would give it to me
free. When my husband was out of work for almost a year, they did give it to
me at no cost. I know where your coming from. You said you

Hi Kelly: Take one thing at a time. Your husband should get unemployment, and
sometimes its almost near what you got as a pay. With all your problems, you
should apply for permanent disability if your long term runs out. I know your

mine is looking better. My husband said that mine was much
Hi: Check out Vermont Country Store online, and type in powder. They list the
Monkey Butt Powder. I see it in their catalog all the time. Wondered if

Hi Jeanie: Allopurinol is used to treat gout. Never heard of it being used
