Question for the C&C 30 MK1 owners. Where does your bilge pump drain? I
picked up mu project boat last winter and they had the hose from the bilge
pump connected to the vent fitting for the head holding tank. I am putting
the head back together and will need that vent, but I can't figure out whe
I used penetrol on the toe rail a couple times. Looks decent for about 6
months.
On my list to try Bill's heat resistant black paint instead. I painted the
front of the fireplace box at my house with it many years ago. Seems to be
holding up well. I also painted the house's roof vents and meta

It is a very old product made by the Flood Company.
Search out some forums on how people use it. Interesting. If I recall
correctly, Dennis is also a fan of Penetrol.

I had a few places I had to touch up, and I use a flat black heat resistant
spray, (B/C that was what I had), then I put an automobile type clear coat
over. Still looks good 12 years later.
