We went with an West Marine (ICOM) DSC VHF with a WHAM (Wireless Remote Mic) for the helm along with a Standard Horizon HX870.  The fixed VHF does not have internal GPS but I hooked up our old Garmin 276C GPS to feed position to it.  Nice to have backups.  The Garmin powers up and shuts down wi

John, The levers you describe are no longer made by Edson. It’s conceivable that you could 3D print a new one from the existing pieces but chances are good you will need to swap out engine controls to either an Edson 870 or 816 control housing. Your cables would get re routed inside the pedest
