Their voice mail box is full and is not accepting any calls. Jay does not
respond to emails.
Am not local [~ 280 miles away] so cannot just drive by.

Just sending a call out to only C&C44 owners who may have any records
showing if their boats were built in Ontario or at the factory in
Rhode Island? Any kind of builders plaque, builders certificate, an
original receipt or even contact info for someone who has archives from
when the factor

I’ve had great success with Harney Yacht Rigging. Used him several times over
the past 5 years. Very professional and reasonable.

A personal friend who owns a marine canvas business had a similar "mailbox is
full" and when I visited his shop he explained when he is busy, he let's his
mailbox fill up to stop incoming messages. I thought that was wrong, but he is

Hi Dan, not sure if this helps but..some time ago after the factory closed, South Shore Yachts in Toronto collected most of the boat files including something called a "build file".This file was specific to a single boat and was filed by the hull number.They made these files available to owner
1986 C&C 44 hull nbrs 7 and 8 are here in Portland. Both were originally
delivered to Seattle. No idea as to country of origin.

Searching the cncphotoalbum email and archives seems to indicate that HIN's
with ZCC were built in NOTL, Ont. The RI boats used CCY. Not convinced
that's 100% correct but try different searches using:
XXX site:cncphotoalbum.com where XXX = ccy, zcc, etc.

It was me who started this converstaion on looking up the manufacturing
location.
Trying to find out if my 1986 C&C44 was made in Canada or the US.
My hull number is:
ZCC44001H586
When I look it up online it tells me the boat was made in Aug. 1985 but not
where it was made.

As Don suggests, and as Ron indicated, the 38 mkll and 38 Landfall can be
confusing.
Imzadi is a 1976 38 mkll, with a ZCC builder code, but also indicates as being
built by CYC Yachts in NOTL. I have the builders file on her, and it contains a
